EXPERIENCE BUILT IN THE SHOP
Performance proven on the road, trail & water.

With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, Jim Rama has built his reputation around one thing: knowing machines inside and out.

As owner and Senior Moto Technician of 831 Moto Sports, Jim brings serious technical experience to motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft, combining old-school mechanical knowledge with modern diagnostics and precision workmanship.

An MMI-trained, Engine Build Certified Technician, Jim has worked extensively across American, Japanese, European, and Italian platforms, tackling everything from routine service to complex mechanical failures and complete engine builds.

His specialties include engine rebuilds, carburetor tuning, advanced diagnostics, suspension, electrical systems, brakes, exhaust, and performance modifications.

But experience alone isn’t what defines the work.

It’s the attention to detail.

The ability to hear what isn’t right.

Find the problem others couldn’t.

Understand how every component works together.

And refuse to call a machine finished until it’s right.

Whether it’s bringing an engine back to life, chasing down a difficult electrical problem, dialing in a suspension setup, or extracting more performance from a machine, Jim approaches every build with the same standard:

NO GUESSWORK. NO SHORTCUTS. JUST SOLID WORK.

That’s what 15+ years behind the tools looks like.

That’s 831 Moto Sports.
